Do you have difficulty budgeting or allocating your time? Perhaps you need to track your daily schedule in a more specific manner. Try using the free and easy to accomplish Time Use Chart from University of Minnesota Duluth Student Handbook that allows you to record everything you do every 30 minutes.
Then, at the end of each week, you can summarize the said schedule at the free Summary of Activities to see how your time is spent for that week. This will help you identify the “bottle neck” or the activities that took most of your time.
Try this out so that you can clearly see where you need to do some adjustments. Maybe, it is time for you to give-up some activities in order for you to attend the most important one. Or perhaps, you are just spending too much chatting with your dorm mate or hanging around in-between your class schedules. Students need to learn how to manage time and we can not do it if we will not monitor our day to day schedule.
