I stumbled upon this nice tip that gave an emphasis to the use of chucking to aid anybody in remembering series of numbers. And it is so true that memorizing series of number at once is very difficult. But by chucking those numbers in smaller parts, remembering them would be easier.
Now I know the reason why it’s so hard for me to memorize my own social security number as compared with any mobile number. I always write my social security number without any spaces or dash (-) while I put dash (-) when I am writing down mobile phone numbers!
You can also apply the same technique to any other form of information. You may also replace numbers with letters or vice versa to help you memorize faster. Just remember to break down details or information to smaller parts so that your brain can synthesize all of it.
